NOW WHAT?! 😳 7 days till the London Marathon 🇬🇧 Over a month off running due to Hamstring Tear NOW this! 16km felt pretty okay / good 🤷♀️ Cannot lie I really wasn’t expecting that. Despite me being very competitive, indenial and stubborn with accepting defeat. I had 98% written off the marathon after the hamstring tear diagnosis a month ago. (It’s been tough) 🧠 I haven’t properly tested the leg at Marathon pace in over a month now so realistically a week till Marathon I had called it off. I’ve woken up this morning with a spring in my step. I had nothing to lose…. The run? 🏃♂️ 16km 4:17 mins KM average pace nearer enough sub three marathon pace … DO NOT GET ME WRONG. Marathon is a complete different beast, but now I have all things going through my mind…. Help.
