homemade bread recipe! SO simple & SO good 😋 grandma approved 🥖 ingredients: ⁃ 3 cups flour (I used spelt flour, but you can also use a combination of white and wheat) ⁃ 1 1/2 cup water ⁃ 1/3 tsp yeast ⁃ 1 tsp salt ⁃ any extra fun flavor ingredient/combination (I used sun-dried tomatoes and olives which was so good, but I’ll list some more ideas below. you can kind of do anything you want!) directions: step 1: mix dry ingredients in a large bowl step 2: decide what other flavors/fun ingredients you want to add to your bread & add them in step 3: add water & mix well step 4: cover the dough & let it rise for 8-24 hours step 5: heat a cast iron to 425 degrees step 6: flatten the dough, and fold it like a burrito step 7: bake for 30 minutes covered, then an additional 3-5 minutes uncovered step 8: let cool, and enjoy! some “fun” ingredient ideas: ⁃ nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, sesame seeds, almonds, flax seeds…) ⁃ spices (cinnamon, rosemary, everything but the bagel, nutmeg, pepper, thyme…) ⁃ cheeses (cheddar, shredded, pepper jack, parmesan…) ⁃ veggies (jalapeño, olives, garlic, onions, tomatoes…) ⁃ fruits (apricots, dates, figs, cranberries, shredded coconut, apples, lemon…) ⁃ other (jam, Nutella, peanut butter, chocolate chips…)
