Brownie Ingredients: • 200g dark chocolate, broken into chunks • 300g unsalted butter, cut into cubes • 4 eggs • 600g sugar • 200g plain flour • 150g pecans (or walnuts, roughly chopped) • 1tsp vanilla extract • Flaky salt for garnish Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate and butter. Melt the mixture in 10-second bursts in the microwave, stirring after each interval. Set aside. 3. Meanwhile, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until thick and light in colour. 4. Add the melted chocolate mixture, stirring constantly, and ensure it is well mixed. 5. Gently fold in the flour. 6. Fold in 100g of nuts and transfer the batter into a parchment-covered baking dish (mine was 32cm*24cm). 7. Sprinkle the remaining nuts on top, followed by salt flakes, and bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry. 8. Allow the brownie to cool completely before cutting. #brownie #chocolate #baking #dessert
