The Daintree Rainforest, found in Tropical North Queensland, is the world’s oldest rainforest - standing tall for over 135 million years old 🤯 the Eastern Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people are the traditional owners of this land, and it’s home to the spectacular Din Din, or Barron Falls! This awe-inspiring waterfall pumps over 265,000 megalitres of water over a 250m drop every single day 😮💨 Now this may be a bit of a curve-ball take, but I reckon the Daintree Rainforest has the most incredible earthy, slightly sweet, rainforest smell that I WISH I could’ve bottled and taken home with me - literally spent most of the rides leaning my head out of that carriage like a dog 🫡 you can check out a bird’s eye view of the Daintree Rainforest by Sky Rail and I reckon it’s an absolute must if you’re out in the Cairns Region! It takes 3x 20 min rides on the Sky Rail to get all the way up to a beautiful little village at the top, where you can visit some sweet little shops and make a couple wombat friends 🤭 #daintreerainforest #cairnsaustralia #queensland #rainforest
