If you dont want to watch it all, basically im just asking, “If God loves us, why do bad things happen go good people”? Overall, I don’t think that humans are good inherently. I think that from the dawn of time we have displayed that we are self motivated, and that we are inherently “self-preservationists”. I think the question should rather be, “Why do bad things happen if Jesus loves us”. Jesus did not intend for the world to be as messed as today. In fact, when He created all of this, He said it was good. When sin made its debut in the world, it messed up the perfect world He created, and causes to experience all of the atrocities that we do in life. God did his part in sending his son Jesus to repair the relationship that was broken by our actions. That was the ultimate example of His love. But we are still in a world filled with selfish people with evil intentions. And just like Adam and Eve, we continue to be afflicted with the consequences of sins affect on a once-perfect world. The fact that God loves us, and the fact that the effects of sin persist on this world are not mutually exclusive. But we do have a hope in the relationship that God offers us through the death, burial and resurrection of His son, Jesus on the cross. And through that through the opportunity that we have to reignite our relationship with our creator if all we do is just ask.
