✨ Homemade Vimto Jam! ✨ Who faniced making this? 😍🍇 @Vimto Recipe: 💜 Add 500g green grapes, 350g blackberries (we used frozen), 200g each blueberries and raspberries to a large pan ❤️ Add around 300ml water 💜 Simmer for around 15 mins - until the fruit is all softened and reduced down- squash with a fork or masher if you need ❤️ Add in the juice of 1 lemon 💜 Add 900g jam sugar and cook on a low heat - until all of the sugar has dissolved ❤️ Turn up the heat as high as it will go and boil for a good 20-30 minutes - you need to get the jam to a consistent temp of 104-105C 💜 Once the jam is thick enough, add in 150ml vimto and cook on high for another 5 minutes or so ❤️ Once the jam is thickened (remember it will thicken as it cools!), pour into sterilised jars. 💜 To sterilise jars, either pour boiling water into them, leave for a few mins and carefully tip out. Or put them through a dishwasher. ❤️ A tip to check your jam is done; put a small (preferably white) plate in the fridge. When cold, add a tsp of hot jam & leave for 30s. 💜 Then push your finger gently over the surface of the blob.
