Remove cheese curds from the liquid whey using a strainer or cheese cloth. 4. Shape cheese curds into a ball while squeezing out as much liquid as possible. 5. Warm up the mozzarella ball for about 20-30 seconds in a microwave. 6. Stretch and pull the mozzarella repeatedly until you reach a smooth texture. 7. As you get closer to the desired texture add salt. 8. Place finished mozzarella ball into a bowl of ice water for 10-15 min. 9.
