This Amazing DIY is By • @finca_home DIY Christmas 🌲🔔 First festive tutorial with these decorative bells. We love their rendering and their hammered metal effect. 🤩 👀 They look like the real thing, don’t you think? Material : - Cans recovered and cleaned - Self-hardening clay (approximately 2 kg to make 7 bells) - Cord - Scraps of wood or collected branches - Gold and black paint - Walnut ✨ Make a hole in the top of your can using a hammer and a nail. ✨ Spread the self-hardening clay on a flat surface using a roller. Cover your can with the clay. Cut and fold the clay around the edges to protect them, as they can be sharp. ✨ Tie a piece of string to your scrap wood then pass the whole thing inside and into the previously drilled hole. Secure with a knot at the top. ✨ Create a small cardboard hat the diameter of your box to create volume. Place it on top and cover with clay. Create a small round handle out of clay and place it at the top. Moisten your clay and make it stick together with your fingers. ✨ It is at this step that you can create the pattern of your choice. We imagined a “hammered” effect here. Stripes, stars, dotted lines… everything is possible, it’s up to you to let your imagination speak. ✨ Let your bells dry for 2 to 3 days. Sand lightly to smooth out any irregularities. ✨ Paint your bells with the gold paint of your choice. For an aged look, apply a little black paint by tapping lightly with a sponge. You can also color the piece of wood attached to the center of the bell with walnut husk. ✨ All you have to do is hang your bells with rope for a charming decoration. . . . . . . #dollartreediy #creativecollective #stylishdiy #stylishdiys #handmadewithlove #bohodecor #easycrafts #ikeahack #potterybarndupe #easycrafts #airdryclay #bells #creativechristmas #christmasornaments #christmasdecor #easytutorial #tutorial #craftingeek #diyprojects #christmasdiy #christmasdecor #airdryclay #christmasornaments
